Our Directors
Tom Gaskin
Founder and CEO
Tom is an experienced social entrepreneur, professionally qualified youth worker and trainer with over 12 years experience working within social housing, local government and the voluntary and community sector in the UK.
Tom has delivered training and innovative enterprise programmes to hundreds of young people nationally and internationally, helping them to learn about social enterprise and develop entrepreneurship and life skills. Tom holds a Foundation Degree in Working with Young People from the Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge and is a graduate of the Lloyds Bank School for Social Entrepreneurs programme, where he received special recognition for his achievements.
Sue Scott
Director
Sue is a well-respected Youth Worker and Careers Adviser and has held a range of specialist youth work roles in project management, information and advice and working with young parents.
Sue has worked at Thetford Academy as a Careers, Information, Advice and Guidance Coordinator since 2010. She is active within the local community and has volunteered with many organisations including the Scouts and Charles Burrell Museum. Sue is passionate about helping young people to develop life skills and to build the resilience needed to navigate through their education, career and personal life in a rapidly changing world. Sue holds a Foundation Degree in Working with Young People and other professional qualifications in youth work and careers advice.
Jen Dawe
Director
Jen’s career began when, aged 16, she was given the opportunity to work with other young people (including with Tom) to develop a groundbreaking website for young people in Norfolk. The experience gained from this role has been invaluable throughout Jen’s career to date, and she is excited about inspiring young people to participate in similiar exciting opportunities and helping young people to construct their future careers.
Jen has held a variety of roles within education, marketing and youth work. Jen managed a team of hundreds of volunteers at the University of East Anglia and has been a volunteer for a number of community projects, including with young people who experience barriers to success, such as having learning difficulties, criminal records or mental health problems. Jen holds an undergraduate degree, and two master’s degrees in psychology.
